The Tamar Project

The Tamar Project is a family violence prevention intervention dedicated to preventing, interrupting, and transforming family violence through programmes that reach children, parents, and those who cause harm. Our work is rooted in the belief that lasting change is possible, and that every person in a family system deserves the support to grow, heal, and thrive.

Through targeted intervention and community outreach, we equip young people and families with the emotional skills and resources they need to build healthier relationships at home. We do not just respond to crisis; we invest in the long-term wellbeing of the families we serve.
